sometimes as solid and tough i think i am on the inside regarding my views, my personel politics, my morals, my feelings, my emotions, my fears, my desires, my loves i suddenly wake up and realise i'm a long way from figuring it all out. i hate it/that sometimes. i realise damn, you didn't visit joshua tree national park when you had the chance, you didn't go to some theater and watch some obscure art film, you didn't hang out with someone who wanted to hang out with you...you blew it you blew so many things...you didn't talk to a girl when you had the chance...you chose the easy way out because the easy way out doesn't turn around and kick you in the ass.

Everyone has regrets like that, though. You're not alone. And I think it's in that togetherness of regret we find eachother. If everything turned out great for us as individuals, we wouldn't need eachother as much as we do.

I agree with Grace. We all face decisions like that, life is a series of gambles that we face day to day. We often choose the easy way out, though the rewards are lesser when taking the easy way out, so are the rewards. It is all a gamble, you just have to figure out if it's worth taking the risk. We all live with decisions that we make in our lives though. Don't feel like a black sheep.

Life is a journey, not a destination. Don't regard poor choices as mistakes, regard them as learning experiences. When you're faced with a similar challenge/opportunity/whatever in the future, you will be more prepared to meet the challenge, and will be hesitant to take the easy way out. We all do it. We're all going through quarter-life crisis'
